This is a recipe for low-carb and gluten free pasta. The dough is made from eggs, almond and coconut, but it’s amazingly similar to normal pasta. I serve the tagliatelli together with slightly spicy, garlic, chili, and white whine steamed mussels, but you can use any sauce with this pasta.

Lasagna is normally made with both a cheese sauce and a meat-tomato sauce. In this version there’s no cheese sauce, just a sprinkle of parmesan between the layers to add that delicious cheese flavor. The tomato-meat sauce is spiced up a bit with rose peppers, sun dried tomatoes, capers and black olives, and the pasta is of course low carb and gluten Free.

Spaghetti alla puttanesca is a tangy and a little salty Italian pasta sauce made from ingredients typical of the Southern Italian cuisine: tomatoes, olive oil, olives, capers, garlic and anchovies. This sauce is a perfect match with the gluten free and low carb pasta. The pasta recipe requires a bit of work, but if you love spaghetti as much as me, I’m sure you wont regret the effort.
